1. Services

All Perth House Painters provides professional painting services for residential and commercial properties. All services are subject to availability and acceptance of our quotes.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes provided are estimates based on the information provided and site inspection. Final pricing may vary if:

  • Additional work is discovered during preparation
  • Project scope changes
  • Access or site conditions differ from initial assessment
  • Client requests additional services

Any changes to pricing will be communicated and approved before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

  • Deposit: 30% upon acceptance of quote
  • Progress payment: 40% at midpoint of project
  • Final payment: 30% upon completion and client approval

Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or cash. Payment terms may vary for large commercial projects.

4. Scheduling and Delays

We will make every effort to complete work within the agreed timeframe. However, delays may occur due to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Unforeseen site conditions
  • Material supply issues
  • Changes to project scope

We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize disruption.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide clear access to work areas
  • Remove or protect valuable items
  • Ensure pets are secured during work hours
  • Provide access to water and electricity
  • Inform us of any hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos)
  • Make timely payments as per agreed terms

6. Warranty

We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty covering:

  • Peeling, flaking, or blistering (except due to moisture issues)
  • Application defects
  • Adhesion failure

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from external factors
  • Color fading due to UV exposure
  • Issues arising from structural problems

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms:

  • More than 7 days before start: Full refund of deposit minus 10% administration fee
  • 3–7 days before start: 50% of deposit refundable
  • Less than 3 days before start: Deposit non-refundable
  • After work has commenced: Payment for completed work plus materials purchased

8. Liability and Insurance

All Perth House Painters carries public liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing defects or structural issues
  • Damage to items not properly protected by the client
  • Issues arising from concealed problems
  • Consequential losses

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage resolution through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or relevant industry bodies before legal proceedings.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Western Australian courts.
